We celebrate the strength and inspiring legacy of historical resistance heroes during the time of transatlantic slavery. Together with Giovanca Ostiana and Veronica van Hoogdalem, actress Gerda Havertong, national coach of the Suriname team Stanley Menzo and Natasja Gibbs, we pay tribute to these heroes.
The program was partially recorded on the day of broadcast. It was my responsibility to watch the live footage, and log exactly what happens when. This meant that the editors themselves did not have to look through the complete footage and could work faster and more efficiently.
